New Era Music Symposium

Namaskar to all,

We celebrated Prabha’ta Sam’giita Day on Sep. 13th and 14th, 2015. This was so pleased that celebration went very well. And it was most certainly due to all excellent participants, including donors, host, speakers, performers and audience. I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you. Thank you so much.

This was the first time we promoted Prabha’ta Sam’giita program in public on Sep. 13th in National Taiwan University. This promoting program was named New Era Music Symposium, included 2 lectures by Dada Shiilabhadrananda and Acarya Liila’ and 8 songs of Prabha’ta Sam’giita singing by RAWA Taipei Wenshan Unit, Didi Ananda Shivanii, Didi Ananda Vidya, Acarya Liila’, Carushiila, Candra Prakash, SS Dada Shubhaniryasananda, Uma Shankar, RAWA Taipei Zhongxiao Unit and Cittarainjan.

In the beginning of preparing this program, some margiis thought Prabha’ta Sam’giita aren’t like popular music, so it must be very difficult to get people interested in joining this program. Indeed, two weeks before the program, there were less than 10 people have signed up. Fortunately, in the efforts of volunteers and Baba’s grace, there were about 100 people attended this program on Sep. 13th in National Taiwan University.

We were very glad to see the bright and delight of smiling on everyone’s face. Some people gave feedback to us. As we knew, one of non-margiis was touched by the performance, then registered the class of yoga meditation. One margii said she knew most performers are amateur. She didn’t expect to see the wonderful performance, so she planned to do her work on the scene. But her eyes and ears were attracted by the performance, she had to put her work aside and watched the performance intently.

Some margiis who attended program on Sep. 13th continuously joined 6- hours Akhanda Prabha’ta Sam’giita singing on Sep. 14th in Taipei Jagrti. The vibrations of light and delight which appeared on Sep. 13th were continued on Sep. 14th. The celebration of Prabha’ta Sam’giita Day this year was very successful. We appreciated all the participants so much. We select some photos and make one film of “New Era Music Symposium”, please you click the below link to see and enjoy it.

It was 4 pm when the Margi in Dallas started celebrating Prabhata Sangiita Anniversary by singing for more than one hour only the Songs of the New Dawn. As few margi could not participate due to family obligations, they were included on Skype and they sang the songs too. At 5:15 Kiirtan started and it was blissful with more than 10 margi present together with Dada Advayananda and Dada Vimaleshananda. At the end of Dharma Cakra prasad was shared and also the announcement for the inauguration of the New Jagrti in New York which is happening on October 1st. Margi of Dallas are well organized with a few young margi taking initiative and responsability. They are looking for a suitable place for a regional retreat which they are planning for October 10.

You came in dark times,
why did not You come during my happy hours?

Why did You come on dark nights,
when my home could not be decorated?

You told me
that You would come on an appropriate occasion,
and become my guest in my home.

You came untimely
and neither a proper reception nor my services
could I offer.

The golden lamp had been kept ready with ghee and wick.
The fragrant incense lay in its pot. Sandal was pasted and kept in its cup,
but You did not even give me the time to apply it on You.

Heart speaks by Dada Vimaleshananda

— A course on Goodness —

I wish to teach a course for inspiring to be Good.

I would take example from the Baker that with the help of the wood fire prepares only good things.

I would take example from the Laundress that clean everything without making distinction from one dirt or another

I would take example from the Beggar that accept everything with a blessing

I would take example from the Dreamer that have never stop to believe in a world made of love.

— The most important thing —

It is a painting that you have never finished

It is a memory that You have never forgotten

It is the action that you do today without thinking tomorrow

It is to thanks at every breath

It is your heart simple and pure

It is to make waiting sweet,

to make the silence sweet,

to make the lonliness sweet,

and even the pain sweet

It is to let it go in the wind at open eyes

It is to start walking towards the Goal

To know that your destiny is Divine

and there is nothing in the world

that can stop you. Because the Goal is close

still more close.

It is right in your heart.

Don’t forget it.

— A word painting —

I don’t know why I like more to write than to talk

Sometimes I listen but I don’t reply.

It is in writing that I free the will. After I am happy.

When I talk there is always an answer and I am frightened

by the dialog beacause I don’t know when it ends.

But when I write I don’t get lost. I own my thoughts

and I am not afraid to offer them.

It is in this way that I paint with ever new colors.

I don’t look for the meaning.

Only a mirror of my soul.

— The biggest problem —

It is that people can’t appreciate freedom.

Freedom to think. Freedom to talk. Freedom to be happy and to sing

Freedom to see such a wonderful world.

Freedom to be happy even without anything.

Freedom to create and to destroy all the dreams that we want.

Freedom to write the joy and even the pain.

Freedom to love without knowing why.

Freedom to draw a reality that moves and does not let you catch it.

Freedom to make rules and prisons. Freedom to live in it and finally freedom to change them and make merry.
