Online 12-Hours Kiirtana
On February 7, 2026, Ananda Marga New York Sector organized a 12-hour Online Katha Kiirtana that brought together devotees and Ácáryas for a deeply inspiring day of devotional sharing and collective spiritual upliftment. The program ran from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (EST) and was attended by about 80 participants online. The event was organized by Ac. Anudhyanananda Avt. and Avadhútiká Ánanda Acira Ácáryá.
Throughout the day, Margiis and Ácáryas shared heartfelt spiritual stories, personal experiences in their spiritual lives, and cherished memories related to Baba. These stories were interwoven with Kiirtana, creating a continuous atmosphere of devotion and inspiration.
One of the main motivations for organizing the program was to record and preserve the legacy of Baba stories while many early devotees are still present to share their experiences. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to document these living memories and pass them on to future generations.
Most of the contributors came from the New York Sector, but the program also extended beyond the Sector, with Ácáryas and Margiis from other sectors joining to share stories and participate in the devotional flow.
Participants expressed deep appreciation for the program, which created a warm feeling of collective devotion and spiritual connection. The organizers hope that this initiative will continue in the future, allowing more stories and experiences to be preserved while inspiring the spiritual life of the global Ananda Marga community.

The program was organized by Avadhútiká Ánanda Acirá Ácáryá and Avadhútiká Ánanda Kalyánmitrá Ácáryá. It included meditation, Kiirtana, and spiritual discussion, creating a warm and supportive environment where the sisters could deepen their sádhaná and share their experiences on the spiritual path. Participants expressed heartfelt inspiration and a strong desire to continue organizing such Sádhaná Shivir programs regularly in the future.

Online Youth Conference
On February 8, 2026, Avadhútiká Ánanda Acirá Ácáryá organized an inspiring Online Youth Conference for the New York Sector under the theme “Rise with Purpose: Youth in Service and Spirituality.” The program brought together young Margiis, families, and participants from different locations for an evening of inspiration, reflection, and dialogue focused on the role of youth in building a spiritual and service-minded future.
The conference featured presentations and panel discussions by young Margiis from both Margii families and those who had more recently received initiation. Participants shared their experiences of maintaining moral strength while facing the challenges of school, career choices, and modern social pressures. The speakers reflected on how spiritual practice and devotional life help them remain balanced, purposeful, and service-minded while pursuing their studies and professional goals.
Several inspiring young speakers shared their personal journeys. Kalinatha (Carrington Morehouse) from Nashville, Tennessee, spoke about the importance of building ethical businesses that combine moral values with healthy profit margins. Nirmal discussed the importance of education and choosing meaningful careers that allow young people to contribute positively to society.
Sister Anusha, daughter of Timir Prabhakar, shared her experience participating in a unique college program focused on agro-forestry, where she studies both the theory and hands-on practice of permaculture and sustainable agriculture. Her presentation highlighted how environmental awareness and practical ecological work can be combined with a spiritually guided life.
Sister Ananya from Dallas presented an inspiring initiative she calls GROW, which promotes holistic development—spiritual, mental, and economic. Through a student club, she teaches classmates how to grow food, serve the local community, practice meditation and yoga, and develop responsible financial habits. Her initiative demonstrates how young people can bring together service, education, and spirituality in practical ways.
Participants from Canada also shared inspiring contributions. Sister Madhuvidya in Montreal spoke about how she balances her studies and work while actively helping develop the Montreal unit and supporting local spiritual programs. Sister Alexandra from Montreal shared about her PhD studies and how she continues developing her Kiirtana skills while participating in the local Ananda Marga community.
Brother Aravinda, currently serving as an LFT at Los Altos Hills, shared about the life of an LFT and his inspiration to dedicate himself to service as a future Whole Timer Ácárya of Ananda Marga. Sister Radha presented a thoughtful introduction to Neohumanistic Education and its importance in guiding the younger generation toward universal values, compassion, and responsible leadership.
During the discussions, several Margii teenagers also reflected on the guidance they had received from their parents regarding the use of social media and mobile phones. Some shared that their parents had consciously limited their screen time and instead encouraged reading books, singing Prabhat Samgiita, and learning musical instruments. Although such discipline sometimes seemed strict when they were younger, they now recognize the benefits. Many of their classmates who once proudly displayed their phones have become overly dependent on them, leading to difficulties with studies and social adjustment. These reflections sparked meaningful discussion about how families can help young people develop balanced habits and maintain focus on education, creativity, and spiritual growth.
The program also included Kiirtana, panel discussions on youth empowerment, and sessions where younger participants shared their thoughts on values and spirituality in daily life. The atmosphere throughout the conference was uplifting and hopeful, demonstrating the strong potential of young people who are guided by spiritual ideals and a desire to serve society.
Participants expressed deep appreciation for the program and the opportunity to hear directly from young voices who are striving to live according to spiritual values while shaping their futures. The conference created a supportive environment where youth could share their experiences, inspire one another, and explore how spirituality can guide meaningful action in the modern world. Many participants expressed the hope that such youth-focused programs will continue in the future, helping nurture a new generation of spiritually inspired leaders and servants of society.
