Avadhútiká Ánanda Acirá Ácáryá, Ac. Diiptimanananda Avt., Ac. Kovid Brc., and Brother Vishnu conducted a meditation introduction on January 6, 2026, at the residence of Jamie Day, a philanthropist and founder of the Dragon Magick Temple in Sarasota, Florida. Twenty-seven people and four teachers participated in this morning’s program. The workshop was inspiring, and many participants expressed interest in learning meditation. Several women requested to begin meditation lessons with Didi Ananda Acira and invited her to conduct online classes and a follow-up in-person program in April. This meaningful connection has opened the possibility for future pracára programs with this community.
A few days earlier, on January 4, Didi Ananda Acira conducted another meditation workshop in Sarasota with fifteen participants. After the program, Dharma Cakra was held with the local Margiis, and two sisters received initiation.
The Sarasota Ananda Marga community is also steadily growing, both through the birth of children and through the introduction of new families to meditation. During this visit, Ac. Diiptimanananda Avt. initiated five brothers, three of them from the same family, while Didi Ananda Acira initiated two sisters and reviewed lessons with the other Margii sisters.
