AMURT and AMURTEL relief in Houston

Today September 15 for the first time we went to the Houston city distribution center and we received a pallet of cleaning buckets and 4 boxes of brooms and mops plus masks and other supplies.

Erick greeted us and with no formalities he loaded our van with all the cleaning supplies.

At Tee’s house we swapped some of the buckets for more water and other requested supplies . Now the van is full and tomorrow Janaka will deliver to a needy family and more at the civic center of West Columbia which is one of the most affected areas.

The images refers to the relief activities ongoing since the beginning of September when brother Krsnatma started the field work immediately after the Hurricane Harvey hit the Houston area.

AMURT and AMURTEL Teams are still at work with new volunteers coming on regular basis.
