Avtk. Ananda Kalyanmitra Ac. reports: Didi Ananda Aparajiita visited Denver, Colorado for a couple of months. During this time she organized a weekly silent walk with meditation in the Cheeseman park, near the WWD jagrtii. I helped with the kiirtan and meditation. We did it for several weeks, and each time different people joined.
Window Renovations of the Denver WWD Project
At the end of August I decided to start a GoFundMe to support the renovation of 6 windows in the WWD building in Denver. One of the unit has still original windows from 1891, and it was time to change them since being single paneled and old they were not fit to keep the cold out of the unit. The campaign started on September 1st and within 1 week the whole sum for the replacement of all the 6 windows in the unit was collected. An amazing response from the margiis and from the member of the Denver community. The GoFundMe caught the attention of a journalist from CBS Colorado, Chierstin Roth who came to interview me and published her interview in the evening CBS program. We also did the renovation of the ceiling in the same unit where the windows will be changed. Avtk. An. Kalyanmitra Ac.
