Blossoms of Service and Harvest at Ananda Dhiira MU
Early spring brought new life and growth to Ananda Dhiira Master Unit. With a fresh irrigation system installed across the garden, the land responded with abundance. By early summer, the gardens were flourishing with corn, cucumber, basil, watermelon, bitter melon, kale, and artichoke. As the seasons turned, the orchards blessed us with the sweetness of grapes, apples, peaches, and figs—a reminder of nature’s generosity when cared for with devotion.
In addition to the harvest, our Master Unit received a heartfelt gift: a wood splitter donated by sister Alma. This thoughtful contribution has already become an invaluable tool, allowing us to prepare firewood for the cold season ahead. With it, we have begun splitting wood ourselves, strengthening both our self-reliance and our spirit of collective service.
Every seed planted, every tree cared for, and every act of support—whether in the form of labor, love, or donation—adds to the living spirit of Ananda Dhiira. These simple, practical steps are not only sustaining the Master Unit but also nurturing a place where future generations can grow in harmony with nature and in the light of spiritual ideals.

Progress on the Retaining Wall at Ananda Dhiira

The construction of the retaining wall at Ananda Dhiira is now nearing completion. This important project, under the care and guidance of Avadhutika Ananda Acirá Acharya, has been steadily moving forward thanks to dedicated teamwork and selfless service.
Brother Albert, together with several volunteers, has been working tirelessly side by side with Didi to ensure the wall is built strong and secure. Their collective effort has been an inspiring example of cooperation and devotion in action.
Once completed, the retaining wall will provide vital protection for the septic system and the foundation of the house, ensuring the long-term safety and sustainability of Ananda Dhiira as a spiritual home.
This progress stands as a reminder that when we join hands in service, guided by love and devotion, even the most challenging projects can be accomplished with grace.

In August, Ananda Dhiira had the joy of hosting two very special private retreats. The first, from August 1–3, was with Sister Vasanti and her family, and the second, from August 18–23, was with Sister Alma.
Both retreats were filled with long, regular meditation sessions, creating a deep spiritual vibration that touched the hearts of all who attended. Participants had the opportunity to review their meditation lessons and receive new lessons, enriching their practice and inspiring fresh determination on the spiritual path.
Sister Vasanti came with her husband and their little son, and together they experienced the beauty of meditating and learning as a family. They left Ananda Dhiira with hearts full of joy and renewed spiritual strength.
Sister Alma was also deeply moved by her retreat. Inspired by the experience, she later invited her husband to join her in volunteering at Ananda Dhiira for several days. Together, they joyfully offered service and generously donated a professional wood splitter machine, valued at nearly $2,000, which will greatly benefit the Master Unit.
Their dedication and generosity were a shining example of devotion in action, reminding us of the transformative power of meditation, family bonding in spirituality, and the joy of selfless service. These private retreats at Ananda Dhiira truly became moments of inspiration and grace for all involved.
Flow of Divine Grace: Akhanda Kiirtan and Baby Naming Ceremony at Ananda Dhiira

The Akhanda Kiirtana at Ananda Dhiira Master Unit was a beautiful and uplifting gathering filled with devotion, inspiration, and joy. The program featured a vibrant Akhanda Kiirtan, heart-touching spiritual sharing, and two special baby naming ceremonies — for the children of Sister Anandi and Brother Rudranath, and Sister Arunima and Brother Ajay. The ceremony was gracefully led by Avadhutika Ananda Acira Acarya, creating an atmosphere of deep love and spiritual bliss.
Participants shared inspiring stories and reflections on spiritual life, and the joy was enhanced by the bountiful harvest of fresh vegetables and fruits from the Ananda Dhiira garden, lovingly shared with everyone. The presence of several Didis and Dadas added great depth and inspiration to the retreat. Both our Sectorial Secretary, Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta, and SWWS Didi, Avadhutika Ananda Sutiirtha Acarya, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the development and the serene, well-maintained environment of the Ananda Dhiira Master Unit.
