Avtk. Ananda Acira Ac., Ac. Diiptimanananda Avt., and Brother Vishva represented Ananda Marga at the 3HO Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration, held at Ram Das Puri in New Mexico from June 19 to 27, 2026. The large spiritual gathering provided an excellent opportunity for Pracara and for sharing Ananda Marga practices with participants from diverse backgrounds. Brother Vishva, attending the event for the second time, was already acquainted with the principal organizers and worked closely with them in preparing for and supporting the program. Dada and Didi also undertook volunteer responsibilities, forming warm friendships with the organizers and interacting closely with participants throughout their stay.
Although the full gathering continued for nine days, the Ananda Marga Acaryas were able to attend only the first five days before departing for the Summer Conference at Ananda Kanan. During that time, Didi Ananda Acira introduced Baba Nam Kevalam meditation, Kiirtana, and Kaoshikii and conducted guided meditation sessions reaching approximately 200 people. Didi also participated in a Women’s Circle attended by twenty-five sisters, where she spoke about the benefits of meditation and the importance of mutual support, inner strength, and women’s empowerment. The gathering was warm and inspiring, creating meaningful connections and opening possibilities for future pracara activities.
A special highlight occurred on Saturday, June 20, during International Peace Prayer Day. Dada, Didi, and Brother Vishva were given forty-five minutes on the main stage to present Ananda Marga practices. Their program included demonstrations of Kaoshikii and Tandava, collective Kiirtana, and a guided meditation led by Didi. The presentation generated considerable interest among the participants, many of whom approached them afterward to learn more about Ananda Marga meditation. As a direct outcome, two sisters received initiation from Didi Ananda Acira, and one brother received initiation from Dada Diiptimanananda.
The overall experience was extremely positive. The 3HO organizers welcomed the Ananda Marga representatives with great respect and cordiality, while participants responded with openness and sincere interest. The program offered a valuable opportunity to share meditation and spiritual practices, establish new friendships, and lay the foundation for continued outreach and cooperation.
