Ananda Marga Canada organized its annual Summer Retreat and Seminar at the SAJO Retreat Center, near Ananda Kanak Master Unit in Quebec, from July 31 to August 2, 2026. The well-attended gathering brought together Margiis from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, and several smaller communities across Ontario and Quebec for a spiritually uplifting weekend of Akhanda Kiirtana, Sadhana Shivir, collective meditation, and seminar classes presented by Ac. Diiptimanananda Avt. and Ac. Shiilabhadrananda Avt.
The retreat was organized by Ac. Dayashiilananda Avt. and Ac. Parinirvanananda Avt., with valuable assistance from Brother Nirmal and the attending Margiis. Pleasant summer weather, with abundant sunshine and occasional rain showers, allowed some classes and activities to be held outdoors, while others took place inside. The combination of spiritual practice, inspiring classes, and warm fellowship made the retreat a joyful and memorable occasion for all.
