Ac. Kovid Brc. organized the Bliss Camp at Ananda Kalpataru Master Unit in Connecticut in August 2026. The Bliss Camp is a spiritual program bringing together Margiis and newcomers for tent camping, collective spiritual practices, and service projects supporting the development of the Master Unit. Around thirty participants enjoyed the opportunity to immerse themselves in a spiritually conducive environment, returning home healthier, happier, and newly inspired.
The camp offered a balanced program for all-round development, combining meditation and spiritual fellowship with practical work in the spirit of Ananda Marga’s “man-making” mission. A major accomplishment this year was the completion of a new well, providing much-needed water for drinking and other essential activities at Ananda Kalpataru.
Bliss Camp also created opportunities to connect with the surrounding community in the town of Stafford. Through positive interactions with local residents and town officials, the organizers continued building relationships and strengthening Ananda Kalpataru’s presence within the community.
Well Project
In August 2026, Ananda Kalpataru Master Unit in Connecticut reached an important milestone with the completion of its new 523-foot-deep well. A submersible pump was installed at a depth of approximately 400 feet and is currently powered by a generator, as the Master Unit remains off-grid. The well now provides fresh water for drinking, bathing, and other essential needs—a fundamental improvement over the previous practice of hauling water from a nearby stream. Until a larger storage tank is installed, the water is being stored in large containers. We sincerely thank all the Margiis whose generous contributions made this important development possible.
