Festival of Bliss

Ananda Marga organized the annual Festival of Bliss in New York at a community center auditorium for the second time.  The program was widely promoted from January to March in the New York area. Sixty-seven artists performed traditional and modern dance and music based on culture and music from China, Russia, Mexico, America, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and many other nations, ethnic groups, and cultures. More than thirty-five different kinds of organizations (charitable, non-profit, government, NGOs) and their presidents and secretaries were our honorable guests: the consulate office, the governor’s office, and the New York Mayor’s Office. By Baba’s grace, the program was successfully conducted.

During the program, we connected with the entire New York community. Ac. Diiptimanananda Avt. presented the highlights of Ananda Marga’s work in the New York Sector, and Timir Prabhakar presented the plans and programs for the Ananda Kalpataru Master Unit.

More than 300 people participated in the program, and four electronic media and print media have been highlighted around the globe and the US. All the prominent guests, chief guests, and friends of Ananda Marga were interviewed by the media, and everyone highlighted and praised Ananda Marga’s work during their talks. It was widely covered by the print media and electronic media and was circulated around New York City. The Festival of Bliss highlighted the yoga and wellness work done by Ananda Marga. With the presence and active participation of the Acaryas of the New York Sector, all the sympathizers and Margiis were inspired and happy.

After understanding the work of Ananda Marga in the New York Sector area and worldwide, all the sympathizers who participated in the program appreciated and recognized the sacrifice of the volunteers of Ananda Marga throughout the world. Every prominent guest and sympathizer felt the bliss and appreciated Ananda Marga’s community service. They realized the practical bliss and happiness in the cultural performances. All the artists and Acaryas were presented to the public. The audience commented that this was a very sentient and natural program they had never participated in before. The program was a practical demonstration of Neohumanistic society and ideological presence. The new generations will learn of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji’s contributions for the community.

It is Ananda Marga’s pleasure to organize such public events, where the public feeling should be endorsed and also take care of their sentiments and understand the science of meditation and well-being. This is a perfect example of organizing a civilizational and culturally based program. After the program, we organized sentient food for every participant and prominent guest. The food was delicious, like prasad, and everyone appreciated it.

Finally, I would like to congratulate and appreciate all the volunteers of Ananda Marga and sympathizers of Ananda Marga who have been cooperating and supporting. I thank all the sympathizers and Margiis brothers and sisters who have encouraged, inspired, and organized the program. I would like to thank the organizers Avadhutika Ananda Kalyanmitra Ac. and Ac. Aparajiitananda Ac., Ac. Kovid Brc., Ac. Anudhyanananda Avt., Timir and Shefalii, and all the artists. And thanks to the special and chief guests who have supported the program a lot. I would like to record the history of Ananda Marga, the 2024 Festival of Bliss for public records, and on the website of Crimson Dawn for the future.

Because of their love for dance, each dance member carefully trained their own dance rhythm and physical skills. After more than two years of hard work, they finally formed a perfect dance team. During this period, we have brought different styles of dance to people of all ethnic groups in the community, such as Mongolian dance, Tibetan dance, classical dance, Dai dance, etc., which the community has widely praised!
