A special program was organized by the Indian–American community in Manhattan, New York. By Baba’s grace, the event was conducted in a very warm and inspiring atmosphere. The Honorable Women and Child Welfare Minister of India, Smt. Savitri Devi, attended the program as the Chief Guest.
Representatives of Ananda Marga, including Dadas and Didis, also participated in the gathering. During the program, the Ananda Marga representatives had the opportunity to honor the Honorable Minister by offering a traditional shawl and presenting the AMURT souvenir as a token of respect and goodwill. She graciously accepted the honor and expressed her happiness and appreciation.
The event was attended by more than 40 delegates representing different organizations and community groups. They warmly welcomed the Honorable Minister and created a positive environment for sharing encouraging updates and initiatives related to the welfare and development efforts of the Government of India.
This gathering also provided a valuable opportunity for the representatives of Ananda Marga to interact with various community leaders and introduce the ideals and service activities of the organization. The Honorable Minister expressed her happiness in meeting Ananda Marga monks and nuns and appreciated the spirit of service and dedication to humanity.
The program concluded in a spirit of goodwill, cooperation, and mutual understanding, strengthening the connection between the Indian–American community and organizations working for social service and spiritual upliftment.
