Los Angeles Feeding Program

From May to August 2025, AMURT continued its community food distributions in Los Angeles despite the ongoing reductions in government assistance programs. The food bank partnership remains strong and continues to supply abundant provisions for low-income families and senior citizens in the area. Due to rising food prices, the number of people seeking assistance has grown steadily—on some days, up to 400 individuals received food support, with a monthly total reaching nearly 3,000 beneficiaries.

In recognition of the program’s consistent service, the Food Bank also donated a power jack to help improve the efficiency of the distribution process. The selfless effort of volunteers and the spirit of cooperation have made it possible to continue serving the community with compassion and dedication.

In addition to the service work, significant progress was made in the field of cultural and spiritual education. A total of 300 Prabhát Samgiita songs were translated into Portuguese, helping to expand access to Baba’s universal message of devotion and inspiration among Portuguese-speaking Margiis and seekers worldwide.
