Avadhutika Ananda Siddheshvarii Acarya was posted in the New York Sector in October 2023 as RS-L Monterrey Region and has reached her field and started Pracar activities. She writes: “While visiting Morelia, I was invited by one Margii sister, Mayadevii, to give two talks at a cultural center called DIF. Around 50 people joined. Every weekend, we had DC followed by a one-day program of Sadhana Siviira, classes, silence, and light food. Margiis appreciated it very much. 11 sisters were initiated. Some sisters learned how to play Kiirtana with the guitar. Also, we had a meeting in nature, in the land of one Margii, who is planning to build a healthy space for spiritual practices. Before that, I was in Monterrey and initiated 16 sisters. They joined a few classes about asanas, food, and fasting. They regularly practice meditation and expressed that it has helped them very much. Some started regular fasting.”
Good news from Avadhutika Ananda Siddheshvarii Acarya, RSL Monterrey: In April 2024, we rented a house for the WWD office in Monclova; the house is in an excellent, safe location. It has three bedrooms, a hall for spiritual practices, a nice kitchen, a laundry room, two bathrooms, and a backyard. Regular yoga classes are going on almost every day, and I also started DC with some initiated sisters. Twelve sisters have joined and enjoy singing devotional songs, Kiirtana, and learning spiritual philosophy and how to cook sentient vegetarian food. People really appreciated the style of Rajadhiraja yoga because they were used to a more physical type of yoga. Now, they can immediately feel the benefits; they feel more relaxed, happy, and spiritually oriented. More than 50 people have already taken classes, and 30 attend regularly at two different locations: Didi’s house and the Magnolia Holistic Center. A student also suggested I start classes in her gym, which is larger, and more people could join. There is also a weekly DC online with the sisters initiated in Morelia. Twenty-one sisters were initiated in Monclova in the last two months.
