On March 15, 2019, Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta attended an Interfaith Service of Remembrance and Gratitude at the Church Center for the United Nations, at the UN Building in Manhattan, New York. This was a beautiful service with different representatives of the United Nations giving talks on the Culture of Peace and giving remembrance to leaders of peace that have recently passed away. The service had music performances and prayers conducted by interfaith ministers and other religious leaders.
After the service, Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta met with those religious leaders and UN officials and shared Ananda Marga’s views on peace.
