On July 28, 2019, Sandeep Khanuja organized a RAWA Program at the Nova Community College in Sterling, Virginia. Students from Lavanya Ghantasala Kalaa Kshethra (The South Indian Classical Music & Dance School) performed classical Indian dance to Prabhata Samgiita songs and other India songs. The students danced and performed Indian Carnatic Vocal, Bharat Natyam & Kuchipudi songs. The program was attended by more than one hundred and fifty people, including the sixty-seven performers, children and their parents.
Acarya Iishvarakrsnananda Avadhuta, RU/RAWA Secretary, gave an opening speech, introducing the goals and history of RU/RAWA, and handed awards to all the performers at the end of the program. Acarya Diiptimanananda Avadhuta and Margiis performed Prabhata Samgiita and devotional songs. The program was wonderfully organized by the unit of Virginia. Margii sister Bhagwanti, and other Margiis have given support.
