On 26th January 2025, the Republic Day of India was celebrated by the Indian-American community in Long Island. Delegates from different parts of the city attended the event, including Nassau County Elected Representative, and more than 200 people were present. Representatives from Ananda Marga were also invited. Mr. Bobby Kumar, the chairman of the Long Island Indian-American community, along with several community leaders, was present to interact with attendees. Souvenirs were distributed, and excellent outreach among sympathizers, elected members, and prominent individuals took place.
Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta, Acarya Kovid Brahmacarya, and Acarya Anudhyanananda Avadhuta were present from the Ananda Marga side. The event featured excellent photographs and well-designed visiting cards. This successful gathering enabled us to greet and connect with an increasing number of sympathizers.
On 26th January, during the India Republic Day, we visited the Indian Consulate in New York. More than 150 people attended, including representatives from the Consulate General of India in New York. We met our Ananda Marga representative, along with several prominent dignitaries and honorees. The program went very well, by Baba’s grace.
We had the opportunity to interact with community leaders, sympathizers, ambassadors from different countries, prominent judges, and a youth icon. Additionally, Mr. Pradhan from the New York Consulate appreciated our contribution and service to the community. Ananda Marga representatives presented souvenirs—including emerald souvenirs—and photographs were taken.
This event enabled us to establish excellent contacts and build lasting relationships with many sympathizers.
