Ananda Dhiira recently participated in the Psychic Healing Art Fair held in Grass Valley and Sacramento, California, creating a valuable opportunity to connect with the local community and network with like-minded organizations. The event was not only a platform for outreach but also allowed Ananda Dhiira to introduce their philosophy and practices to a broader audience.
At the fair, Avadhutika Ananda Acirá Ácáryá delivered an insightful speech titled “Meditation, the Journey of Self-Discovery,” which resonated with many attendees. The team also distributed flyers and engaged with visitors to explain the meditation and yoga practices of Ananda Marga, sharing the benefits of spiritual development through these disciplines. In addition to raising awareness, they sold books on their teachings, further extending their philosophy into the community.
The outreach efforts were highly successful, with over 80 people signing up for the mailing list. As a follow-up, Ananda Dhiira offered a free yoga and meditation workshop at their center, ensuring they stayed connected with those who expressed interest at the event.
One of the most meaningful connections was with Hiroki, a representative from the Shu Mei organization, who discussed the possibility of collaboration. Hiroki later visited Ananda Dhiira, where he shared knowledge about natural agriculture, sparking ideas for future partnership. This event marked a significant step in deepening community ties and expanding the reach of Ananda Dhiira’s mission of spiritual growth and environmental harmony.
