Spreading Wellness and Inspiration in Monterrey and Monclova: Highlights from Avtk. Ananda Siddheshvarii Acarya

From September to December 2024, Avtk. Ananda Siddheshvarii Acarya, RSL of Monterrey, made significant strides in promoting Ananda Marga’s teachings and expanding its community outreach in Monterrey and Monclova.

In Monclova, a lecture on “The Way to Happiness” was held on November 23 at the prestigious Museo Coahuila y Texas, attended by 13 people. Inspired by the session, many joined the next day’s Dharma Chakra, bringing 15 new participants the following week.

A key milestone was an interview on Channel 4 TV, where Didi demonstrated asanas, kaoshikii, meditation, and the Baba Nam Kevalam mantra, reaching over 6,000 viewers. A Facebook page, Rajadhiraja Yoga Monclova, was also launched, reaching 3,200 people and drawing new students to yoga classes.

Didi introduced yoga and meditation to a rehabilitation center, benefitting 20 women aged 15 to 45, and partnered with a high school principal to offer regular classes for 900 students and 24 teachers starting in February 2025.

During this period, Didi initiated three sisters, conducted 14 Dharma Cakras, three table talks, four cooking classes, and daily yoga sessions. Dharma Cakra was held every Saturday at 8 p.m. online and Sunday at 12 p.m. at the Monclova office.

Through community engagement, digital outreach, and service initiatives, Didi continues to inspire and uplift many while spreading Ananda Marga’s philosophy.
