Spring Meditation Retreat in Nadadores, Coahuila, Mexico

A deeply inspiring Spring Meditation Retreat for new people was held from April 24–26, 2026, at the beautiful Hacienda Las Catalinas in the town of Nadadores, Coahuila, Northern Mexico. The retreat brought together 17 participants, including 8 new people, 3 senior margiis, 1 teenage margii, and 3 Ácáryas, for a transformative weekend of spiritual practice, learning, and joyful fellowship.

Set in an exceptionally peaceful and beautiful environment, the retreat offered an ideal atmosphere for spiritual introspection and inspiration. Participants enjoyed the soothing sounds of birdsong, the constant fragrance of jasmine in the air, and ideal weather that allowed for early morning meditations beneath the stars in the fresh open air. The serene natural surroundings created a deeply uplifting atmosphere that touched everyone present.

The retreat featured a rich and inspiring program. Ác. Priyakrśńa Avt. gave a thoughtful class on the importance of our food choices, connecting diet with the cycle of creation as well as the science and deeper purpose of meditation practice. Avtk. Ánanda Siddheshvarii Ácáryá delivered a brilliant class on Biopsychology, sharing valuable insights drawn from both theory and her own personal experiences. A special group activity called “Draw Your Life” created a meaningful opportunity for participants to share their life journeys and develop deep personal connections with one another.

Evenings were especially memorable, including a beautiful sitar concert by Ác. Rágátmánanda Avt. around a campfire under the night sky, adding a unique devotional and artistic dimension to the retreat experience.

Throughout the weekend, participants enjoyed vibrant kiirtanas, deep meditation, inspiring talks, and delicious sattvik meals lovingly prepared by margiis. The senior margiis played an especially important role in the success of the retreat by helping with cooking, warmly supporting the newcomers, and inspiring them through their personal stories and spiritual example.

All of the new participants either received initiation or follow-up guidance in their lessons, marking a deeply meaningful spiritual step for many. Four sisters and one brother were initiated during the retreat. The enthusiasm was so strong that many participants immediately began asking when the next retreat would take place.

The retreat also included a heartfelt celebration of Bábá’s Birthday, with three hours of Akhanda Kiirtana attended by 15 margiis along with several new participants. The devotional vibration was exceptionally powerful, creating a deeply unifying and inspiring atmosphere. Several newcomers shared that they felt an unusually strong spiritual vibration and expressed their sincere desire to participate in similar programs again.

The retreat was a beautiful example of how sincere collective effort, devotion, and spiritual fellowship can create profound transformation and inspiration for all involved.
