Weekend Spiritual Retreat at Sarasota, Florida

From February 7th to 9th, 2025, Sarasota unit hosted a serene Weekend Spiritual Retreat, bringing together 13 dedicated sádhakas for deep spiritual immersion and joyous community. Organized by Sister Niiramaya and Sister Himanii, the retreat was guided by Avadhútiká Ánanda Acirá Ácáryá and Ácárya Diiptimánanda Avadhúta, offering a harmonious blend of spiritual practice, learning, and togetherness.

Each day began with Akhanda Kiirtana, followed by meditation and revitalizing yoga sessions. Seminar classes deepened participants’ understanding of Ananda Marga philosophy and refined their sádhana, with inspiring discourses from Ácárya Diiptimánanda Avadhúta.

A highlight was meditation by the beach, where the rhythmic waves and open sky created an ambiance of inner stillness and divine connection. The Satsaunga was especially uplifting, with brothers, sisters, and even children joining in collective Kiirtana, meditation, and lesson reviews, enriching the retreat’s spiritual atmosphere.

The sentient meals, lovingly prepared by márgiis, became an offering of devotion, nourishing both body and soul. As the retreat concluded, participants left with renewed inspiration, deeper inner connection, and gratitude for the shared journey. More than just a retreat, it was a sacred gathering of like-minded souls walking the path of Dharma together.
