Harmony Interfaith, the World Yoga Community, and the Asian American Forum exceptionally organized the program, with significant contributions from Dr. Hari Shukla, Dileepkumar Thankappan, also known as Guru Dileepji, and the New York City Mayor’s and Governor’s offices. The event was hosted at Dr. Shukla’s residence, where numerous community members, elected officials, and prominent leaders gathered.
Dr. Shukla, a close friend of Ananda Marga, invited Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta to light the ceremonial candle and inaugurate the program, which also marked the beginning of an interfaith prayer. The introductions highlighted Ananda Marga and helped connect various community leaders, spiritual organizations, and government representatives. Six Acaryas from Ananda Marga were present.
Overall, the event was very well received, successfully introducing Ananda Marga to a wider audience and fostering meaningful connections among all participants. Thank you. The gathering was graced by the presence of Ácárya Abhiramananda Avadhúta, along with Dileepkumar Thankappan (also known as Guru Dileepji), and fellow Ananda Marga representatives: Avadhútiká Ánanda Rádhiká Ácáryá, Avadhútiká Ánanda Hitaprábhá Ácáryá, Ácárya Kovid Brahmacárii, Ácárya Anudhyanánanda Avadhúta and Avadhútiká Ánanda Sutiirthá Ácáryá.
This event served as a platform for interfaith dialogue, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration among diverse spiritual communities. Participants engaged in discussions, shared their unique perspectives, and explored common values that unite different faiths.
