From December 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025, over 30 sádhakas gathered at Los Altos Hills Jagrti for a deeply uplifting Winter Retreat & New Year Celebration, led by Avadhútiká Ánanda Acirá Ácáryá and Ácárya Diiptimanánanda Avadhúta. The retreat featured Akhanda Kiirtan, six-hour New Year’s Kiirtan, Sádhana Shivir, Katha Kiirtan, discourses, and nature walks, creating a transformative spiritual atmosphere. The Ananda Vanii, read in ten languages, inspired all to march forward with renewed devotion. Participants left deeply inspired, carrying a profound sense of purpose and connection with the Supreme into the new year.
Ananda Marga activities continue to expand with inspiring initiatives. On December 17, 2025, Sister Nirainjana organized a Tattvasabha in Westchester, NY, supporting efforts to establish a new unit in the area. On January 20, a pracár lecture in Sterling, Virginia led to the initiation of four new sādhakas, strengthening the local spiritual community. Earlier, on January 4, a vibrant RAWA program in Queens, NYC brought Margiis and friends together for music, performance, and creative expression—setting an uplifting tone for the new year and spreading spiritual inspiration through the arts.
Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta was invited as Guest of Honor to the inauguration of a hotel newly constructed by the Batta family in Los Angeles. Aman and Gagan Batta have known Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta since they were living in India. They have been contributing to Ananda Marga for many years and inviting our Acaryas to family and public events. Many local dignitaries were present, and Dadaji gave a talk introducing Ananda Marga.
On February 22, 2025, Ananda Marga was honored to participate in the Peace and Harmony Program at the United Nations, organized by HWPL, ambassadors, and interfaith groups. Over 50 organizations gathered to promote global unity and humanitarian values. Ananda Marga’s mission was warmly introduced, receiving appreciation from UN delegates, faith leaders, and ambassadors. Representatives from Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, and Christian communities joined the event. The program offered a powerful platform to expand our outreach and build meaningful connections for future collaboration with NGOs, spiritual organizations, and global peace initiatives.
Ananda Marga representatives participated in India’s Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2025, joining events in Long Island and the Indian Consulate in New York. Over 200 attendees gathered in Long Island, including elected officials and community leaders. Ácárya Abhiramananda Avadhúta, Ácárya Kovid Brahmacárii, and Ácárya Anudhyanánanda Avadhúta represented Ananda Marga.
