RAWA Retreat at Ananda Girisuta MU – March 2-4, 2018
RAWA Retreat was held at Ananda Girisuta Master Unit (PRAMA Institute) March 2 – 4, 2018.
The retreat was focused on spiritual practice, satsaunga and RAWA. On Saturday morning Dada Unmantrananda lead a RAWA workshop where we went deep into the inner meaning of a selection of Prabhata Samgiita, trying to let the Bhava (ideation) shine forth from the songs. In the Saturday afternoon, Dada Iishvarakrsnananda ji gave a seminar class on the topic “The Intuitional Science of the Vedas – part 3” and we also had Katha Kiirtan and RAWA sharing on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
On Sunday morning Dada Unmantrananda and Dada Diiptimanananda lead singing of Prabhata Samgiita for almost two hours followed by kiirtana and meditation where every participant could chose their favorite song and we sang together.
The Dadas, Didis, retreat participants and Margiis in Marshall, Asheville and nearby areas joined in for theSunday afternoon Akhanda Kiirtana that coincided with the monthly Akhanda Kiirtana and everyone shared a nice meal after.
Monday March 5 we had ACB meetings and Dadhichi Divas celebration with fasting through the day and fasting brake and dinner after the evening Dharma Cakra. After those programs, RDS meetings then took place from March 6 – 8.
The weather was cool with a little snow but at the same time very beautiful spring flowers coming up.
